[/quote] Yes, in the internal LCPS documents I found and posted lottery is used after they decide the cutoff for scores. If you get above the cutoff, you get entered into the lottery. If you are selected, you're accepted, all others waitlisted. If you don't make the cutoff, you're rejected.[/quote]
