I don't think this is wasted or useless energy for you to be thinking about these things. Our whole lifetimes we process our histories and our existence. That is normal. Especially if you have similarly aged kids... this kind of thing crops up with memories and shutting down these questions or memories is definitely not the answer- though I am sorry you may not ever get answers here.

I do think it's of note that you are questioning it- based on lots of other strange things in childhood. Likely if you listed them out/reviewed with therapy you would get better feedback from whomever is assisting you. [/quote]
