I use a compound through my doctors office and it is $250-500/month depending on the dosage. I am tapering off after losing 40 lbs and it's currently $300 for 4 shots, but I am stretching them to every 10 days now so that works out to $200/month. Totally worth it, and have never had issues with supply.
I am doing similar but I have lost 8lbs and that is IT, after two months. I don't even feel so much of a decrease in appetite so much as an aversion to a lot of foods. I cannot stand fruit for instance.
It took me a year to lose 40 lbs. 8 lbs in 2 months is a good start, keep at it. Super fast weight loss isn't sustainable or healthy, and more likely to rebound. After a year I really have changed my eating habits, even if I still need a low dose to maintain.
I lost only 18lbs in 11 months so you are doing great in my book
