I like most other people in DC hate ATVs, rats and crime. There is a solidarity among (many) DC residents for our hatred of ATV, rats and crime.

What bothers people from DC is people saying, insultingly, enjoy your "ATV, rats and crime"; its equivalent to saying, "the struggles that bond DC people together, in solidarity, I don't want any part of it so I'm not part of it."

You may or may not own property and/or live within the DC boundaries, but you sound exactly like a suburban tool who thinks Go-Go is a all-female punk band from the 80's.
