She is basically a very successful model married and divorced to a professional athlete. It’s a different world. Do I think she’s making great choices? No, she is a model. In theory she runs uncommon James but basically she’s a highly paid model. She is the brand and gets paid to model the skin care products and the jewelry. Her Instagram is full of her shooting on location. They love to put her in a bathing suit because why not. She likes to say that she runs the company but I’m sure they have a very confident chief financial officer and CEO etc. for that. But she is the brand. [/quote]

You’re missing my point, but I really don’t think we are disagreeing. Yes she has a company called uncommon James, which she claims that she runs. What is probably happening as it is run by a bunch of very competent people, but Kristen is the brand. she does photo shoots periodically throughout the year. Where she… Wait for it… Models the jewelry, models the brand. It’s often her in bikinis and lingerie which you don’t need to model jewelry but because she is gorgeous that’s what they do.

So yes, I think primarily her paycheck from uncommon comes from being the brand and therefore the model. I don’t understand why this is controversial or why you would disagree. She is basically a highly paid model. She is the brand of the company. I am sure in a few years when she gets older the uncommon people will just shift the brand just like they did with Kate Hudson and Fabletics.[/quote]
