natural pb with a lower sugar jam on whole grain is way better than most lunch meat, lunchables etc. good protein, fills you up and tastes great
This sounds disgusting. As adventurous as my kids are with their eating, they still want to eat things that taste good. I push the more natural jam and whole wheat/grain bread but I've given up on the natural pb. They won't eat it and honestly I can understand why. I ate one of their sandwiches once, yuck.
really? and what would your "adventurous" eaters consider good food? As others have said, it all depends on what you are used to and my kids my husband and I find Jif, Skippy and whatever else horrible. There is a fake pb taste and bizarre mouth feel to brands like that. Most jam is way too sweet and I am scared to even ask what you consider good bread to be. I believe that food tastes best in its most simple form, and I am glad my kids do as well. We have never ordered food for my kids off of a kids menu-they eat what we eat. I am sure that what your kids find delicious mine would find repulsive and that is ok with me.
