Holton also has a parent group called “Racial Justice Learning Space for White Families”
This sounds great. Shouldn’t all people want to learn?
Awesome! I would love to pay 50,000 per year, and be asked to donate more at every turn, so that my own money paid to grifters who will come in and lecture my family and myself that we are unjust and bad people. where do I sign up???
This affinity/learning spaces are voluntary.
of course they are, but if you don't go, the DEI crowd will say that you are part of the problem, and if you do go, they will expect you to admit that you are part of the problem. And if heaven forbid you say anything (whether deliberate or inadvertent) that challenges or contradicts the narrative, then you are branded racist.
Perhaps that's true in your hypothetical world, but in the reality of the school only a small group of people who want to and have the time focus on the work choose to do so.
