Op here. DC was tested in public but it was during Covid before enrolling in private. So over 2 years ago. The testing was not adequate for sure especially because of how it was conducted during virtual so there was some done virtually, and some done through a plexiglass screen. And some not done at all. We have requested it again through the public schools and will also request an IEE. In that  process now.

DC’s IQ was in the low average to average range. Some areas were low average others were average. Comprehension was average. Phonological processing, working memory scores, were all very low (Some scores in less than 1st, 3rd and 5th percentiles). To my knowledge there was no indication of ID based on the psychoeducational testing the school did.  But again it was in the middle of Covid and not ideal. DC has been in private since the testing. The private school relied on the IEP and testing for admissions. They also brought DC in more than once for additional testing and evaluation by their own staff prior to admission.[/quote]
