But she (if a female, I honestly don't know the name) knows the requirements.  Any sexual harassment claim in ed has to go through the title 9 office.  According to the OIG report the title 9 coordinator passed sexual harassment claims (as a matter of mcps policy) to the Compliance and Investigations office.  According to federal regulations, title 9 coordinator is supposed to be a part of all investigations (not just the complaints) related to sexual harassment.  There is just so much wasted money.[/quote]

This is my question: how could Greg Edmunson be completely out of the loop on all of this? Both operationally and administratively (record keeping)? Are we missing something here? This is where the BOE really falls down - they know about Title IX. Why isn't Title IX compliance in the BOE inquiry to the superintendent?

How is the federal government OK with this utter lack of compliance with Title IX?[/quote]
