We don’t even know their name because they were a minor. 6 year olds believe in the Easter Bunny and don’t understand death is permanent. Also no consequences to the parents (of a kid who hits or chokes. The 6 year old who shot his teachers parents were charged because of not storing the gun properly). If anyone is questioned, it would be the teacher. Who then gets pulled out of the classroom, potentially for a significant period of time if they call their union and request legal representation.
