The "school district" is MCPS. There are upcoming boundary studies for both Wootton and Churchill. If you're looking to buy your home, you should not assume that the school conveys with the residence.[/quote]

Churchill is not part of the study.  Churchill boundaries are such that even a minor shift would put kids into another top cluster like Whitman.  So they don't bother looking at Churchill.  I feel quite certain our home will always be part of Churchill despite not being in the walk zone, which isn't the best neighborhood by Potomac standards.[/quote]

Technically no schools are part of the Crown study yet, since it hasn't been voted on. However, in preliminary discussions at the board table, Seth Adams listed Churchill as a possible inclusion. Which makes sense since it's overcrowded and borders Wootton which is under capacity.[/quote]
