Gotta feel sorry for the coaches at travel clubs with the bad-news bears teams of kids who are there giving 40% effort and don't even watch the game on tv. But have parents who are constantly complaining about not winning Maybe yelling is a substitute for expensive therapy :-)
You feel bad for a bunch of adults that get paid to coach kids to play soccer? (Because of a few complaining parents). LOL How about a bunch of kids that love playing soccer but get screamed at during practices and games by a bunch of fully grown adults (coaches)?
Interesting paraphrasing Well, since kids are getting screamed at at games by fully grown adults (parents) who know less than the coach, seems everyone is failing.
There is certainly something to this. I wish Coaches, TDOCs, Managers, Refs, whoever had the ability to escort parents off the field. The joysticking, the yelling for a yellow card, the questioning of line calls, etc is only embarrassing your sons and daughters and having them lose standing with their coaches.
A ref threw me out of a game once. The following week at practice I approached the coach and apologized. He told me that it wasn't a problem and that the ref was horrible. So...you don't always lose standing with the coach.
