Two years later, they confessed they made a mistake. The place in NC was far away from any city of reasonable size, they had some health issues so golfing (primary focus of the community) was not as important an option, driving to/from DMV was a nightmare they had forgotten about, they missed the weather and travel options/airport they had while living in Florida and they were not seeing the kids as much as they thought they would.

They also missed the friends they had made in Florida.

This was the second couple we know who either regretted leaving Florida or moved back.
