I'll actually answer the question instead of making wacky claims. Elementary School: Stephanie Dinga, Stacy Ashton, Joshua Fine, Angie Fish, Desmond Mackall Middle School: James Allrich, Alana Murray, Carla McNeal High School: Vilma Najera, Scott Smith, Rhoshanda Pyles, Robert Dodd Central: Yolanda Allen, Greg Mullenholz, Peter Moran, David Adams
I question your judgement if the bolded are your idea of "rising stars" doing good work within MCPS.
One of these worked closely with Beidleman. Shocker.
Scott Smith worked at Clemente at the same time. Doesn’t mean he had anything to do with that mess.
They didn't overlap at Clemente. Smith was there 2015-2018, Beidleman 2012-2014.
It's also not Smith.
Pyles was the principal intern at Farquhar a few years ago. I don't know why that fact should count against her.
You'll have to ask the PP why they bolded the name and questioned a "rising star" status. Pyles was intern at Farquhar with Joel Beidleman as principal. He was not a good principal. He was not a good supervisor. And any leader who learned from him should be viewed very carefully. How many Tilden MS complaints are there for a variety of reasons? That principal also worked closely with Beidleman. And each of them knew exactly what he was like in and out of school. And unless they spoke to the Post, they covered for him. Maybe even made questionable decisions as directed by him. Whoever thinks a school system has rising stars is a fool and whoever thinks a leader who worked with Joel Beidleman is rising star is also a fool.
Jeez. This is a whole lot of supposition and speculation. Beidleman was clearly terrible, but to say that anyone who ever worked with him is too is a bit much.
