NP but there is absolutely no reason why Maryland couldn't crack down on pot smoke in public places and address the problem in Maryland. VA and DC also have these issues and should address them as well.

I don't understand the lack of political will on this. Like we've just accepted everything smells like weed all the time and that's how it is. I don't want to live somewhere like that, and I will move if it doesn't improve. I'd rather move back to Pennsylvania where you encounter more cigarette smoke still but only in certain areas and it's easier to control/penalize because people actually understand what the issue is, even the smokers. With weed, we have a bunch of people who truly believe they should be allowed to smoke anywhere because it's no longer criminalized, and there is zero political will to actually enforce the law which is supposed to limit it to people's homes.[/quote]
