-Christmas Eve Crab cakes Panko shrimp Beecher’s Mac and cheese Green beans Christmas cookies -Christmas morning Homemade cinnamon rolls Breakfast casserole Fresh fruit -Christmas dinner Smoked prime rib with horseradish cream Potatoes au gratin Steamed broccoli Butternut squash with spinach, craisins, and onion Sourdough bread and butter Homemade pecan pie Christmas cookies
How do some of you cook all of this stuff?
I’m not the PP, but I space things out over a few days. I’m making the rolls today, which can be reheated on Christmas Day. I’m also making the desserts today. I will make scalloped potatoes in the morning (again, to be reheated before serving), and my prime rib in the afternoon. I will make the sides (green beans or Brussels sprouts) while the prime rib roasts. For Christmas breakfast, we are having waffles, so I wil make the batter before I go to bed.
