I've seen a mix of really good, okay, and bad FCV coaches for the boys and girls. I'm trying to find this out myself, who is good and is bad and abusive. My children have played against a couple girls and boys coaches who are really good![/quote]

Every club is a mix or good, bad, and meh coaches.  The real way to find out is to ID/try out, and watch how the coach interacts with the team and kids.  Also, certain kids prefer certain types of coaches.  My DD likes strict coaching versus the "let's have fun" approach.

Moral of the story, ID with the various clubs and see if your kid is a match with whichever coaches. Anyone telling you one club has better coaches than another has been slighted or is just fanboying.[/quote]
