Working through agencies doesn’t excuse moral culpability. There is a reason, a horrific reason, that international adoption agencies have been chased out of many poor countries. Going through an agency didn’t remove the moral stain for international adoption and it doesn’t remove the significant ethical issues here. [/quote]
