To keep the commute tight, I'd leave my as early as possible. Already dressed, [b]quaffed, [/b]made up, etc. My kids and I would get to daycare/before school care a couple minutes before it opened. When they turned the lights on inside the building, we were allowed to go knock on the door and do drop off (totally reasonable on their part).
