Hmm, I am just trying to imagine how to do it. Like literally rent a cop? Just go to a private security firm and give them a beat to walk in shifts? Neighborhood passes a hat? I am not anti-police, but yes, it would make headlines if we have to hire people to do what police are meant to do but can't or won't do the lack of political support.[/quote]
Yes. You and your neighbors hire a security firm who deploy security guards to your neighborhood. The conditions would need to be negotiated in terms of coverage, costs, etc. [/quote]
