[/quote] Totally agree. I’m from the south coast of MA near the Cape and go to Delaware with DH’s family now. My kids go to camp on the Cape and even they much prefer it to the DE beaches. Maine is really lovely, but the Cape gets you the tourist scene like Rehoboth. I also really like the idea of Michigan. Or renting a villa in a different international location for half the summer each year. If I had OP’s budget, no way would I choose to stay in DC for months. [/quote]
