Authors really do appreciate knowing that people are taking their books out from the library. I'm sure there are some who don't - I don't know them - but for most of us, yes, we really like to hear it. Librarians are big advocates for books and authors, and them discovering you and sharing your work with their community will only help your career.[/quote]
