Yes, local families with kids do. It was opposed by some of the immediate neighbors. There was a counter-movement in support of the school, although it was late to organize given that a construction start date for the new school was already in the FCPS plans and assumed to be happening. [/quote]

Well like I said above I know the Providence Community got wind of it right before Christmas break and from the public meeting I attended it was basically a done deal to move the money.  We may have missed the boat on the Blake lane site, but perhaps  maybe the school is needed in a different spot in the area not sure where, but Blake does have it's traffic issues.  The county is crazy approving all this housing with no school help. I don't believe their crap that their won't be that many kids.
