For what it is worth, the judge in question wrote a long apology letter to the family within days after the event. She allegedly also gave the girl her medal the same day. Unfortunately, Gymnastics Ireland didn't share that letter of apology with the family. If they had passed the letter on to the family within a week, and issued an apology on behalf of the organization, would that have been enough? [/quote]
