I am okay with wide leg pants but why cropped?? That looks good on no one.
I’m 5’9” and like everything is cropped these days. I have struggled to find anything not cropped. Everlane is the worst for this.
I’m “only” 5’7” but have the same issue. I often have to buy tall pants and occasionally hem them but usually they’re fine. Totally the opposite of when I was a teen (90s) and had to hem everything, especially jeans.
I’m an inch shorter and even I have to buy pants in Tall lately. Otherwise they are above the ankles and look terrible.
I’m 5’4” and don’t even have long legs and recently bought jeans in Tall for the same reason.
Ha, I'm 5'3" and I love the cropped trend because they fit me like regular length, and I no longer have to get jeans hemmed.
Where are you shopping? I've only had time to try on pants in two stores but nothing was cropped and I couldn't wear any of the wide legs, it was back to the 2000s in a bad way when I couldn't find wide leg or flared jeans I wasn't stepping on. Unfortunately, since I'm not a teenager anymore I can't spend Saturday trying on in every store in the mall.
NP but I'm 5'2" and do well with the current "cropped" styles, which are usually full-length on me. I shop at Anthropologies, Nordstrom, Saks, etc. mostly online. Brands I like for these styles are Paige, Frame, and Mother - haven't had to get any of those hemmed (but again, only with the cropped/ankle-length fits). I do have trouble finding nice work pants right now - just caved and ordered a few pairs from Talbots. I got the Italian wool wide-leg pants in the petite length and was surprised how nice the quality was. Most of their pants are poly blends (like all pants it seems!) but these are pure wool, fully lined, and draped nicely. JCrew and Banana Republic are the other usual suspects for nicer petite-length pants.
