I think the Mayan civilization is more interesting to contemplate because it isn't as explicitly documented down to the smallest detail as the Roman Empire. The Aztecs are interesting too in terms of mythological belief systems.

Sorry, you do not know history. I've studied this including original first hand writings by Diego de Landa. Mayan libraries filled with their books were also burned to the ground. Another reason there is way more info about the Roman empire.[/quote]
