LOL - enjoy your daughter now because ruling with an iron fist just ensures problems with your relationship in the future. She may cut you out or she may push back once she gets her freedom.  A daughter controlled by her parents sometimes finds her ways into other controlling relationships because she has learned that the people who love you most are the ones who try to control you most. Wow. The serpent truly does come in all forms. But I think I'll take my chances that choosing to guide my daughter toward the virtue of leaving some parts of her flesh to the imagination while under 18, and hope for the best. I still think there will be plenty of time when she is in college to get crazy with the skanky-dress rebellion if she really feels a need.[/quote]
