[/quote] You're only making it your business by "working around it" (your words), catering to what sounds like an unreasonably long list of food requests (a few is acceptable for a guest), and engaging on any level with requests for money outside of a firm or polite "no." It need not be your business that she spends a lot of money on things unless you agree to help with $$. Not your problem. Be polite but don't engage. If you need to go low-contact, do that too.
