I can’t disagree more. My oldest watches my youngest since I’m still at work when they get home from school. There are kids going home to all sorts of different things in all socioeconomic backgrounds that can hinder homework in the evening. Some might watch siblings, some have single parents, some have activities until 9pm at night, etc. APS should not lower expectations of our students. They are doing us and our kids a disservice by assuming us poor families have kids that are not worth pushing academically. [/quote]
