And yet, the brainless MAGAs cheering this news will keep bleating about holding a former president to account for an attempted coup, all while whining about how the rich are held to different rules than the common citizen. Truly, their stupidity knows no bounds.
I can promise you it's not only "MAGAs" (your words) who are upset and frustrated with the relaxation of consequences for violent, repeat criminals.
then the voters can hold her accountable, see what happened in SF. this guy has removed/suspended two elected prosecutors, both democrats. apparently rising crime is ok when the prosecutor is a republican. These are elected positions and voters should decide
DP. I refer you to this: "The Governor has the authority to suspend a state officer under Article IV, Section 7 of the Florida Constitution." DeSantis is fully within his gubernatorial rights and duties here. He has done nothing illegal or even questionable.
I hope the Dems remember this when they take the governor’s office. It’s not if, but when.
In Florida? Have you been drinking?
No it will shift back. I remember when Florida had democrat governors and senators. Yes it has been a long time, but the time will come. I just hope it’s in my lifetime
It will be difficult if they run on policies of letting criminals go, and giving special favors to Disney to govern themselves and surrounding areas.
Give drunk the damn laced kool-aid. Disney is not the only entity with such favors. Florida had hundreds of such special governing favors, including the massive “The Villages”. Goodness, I wonder why they have been treated differently by DeSantis. And if I was a business, I would be leery of starting a massive business in Florida today. Disney built orange and Osceola county. It used to be nothing but swamp, dairy and orange groves. Unfortunately for Disney, their business is unique and cannot be just relocated.
