Birkenstocks are still the go to sandals for the Lesbian crowd.  Some of the old hippies and deadheads too.  Crocs are good for working people because all you have to do is wipe them down. sneakers that are comfortable should be ideal for middle school.  [/quote]

Hospital workers, nurses, doctors, hairdressers, chefs use crocs for comfort and easy clean up,  sounds like a smart choice.  [/quote]
