Ridiculous! When I'm prompted I hit no tip. I still consider 15% decent and 20% good.  If they want more then that, they need a better job.  Once the employers have a hard time with staffing they will raise wages.  It's called capitalism.[/quote]

No, no, no!  If that happens, the few restaurants will jack up their prices and cut wages so you end up tipping 50%.  'Mom and Pop' are gangsters! We need competition to keep them in check. The right thing to do is for people to grow a pair and only tip what they think is 'normal' or none at all.  That should be normalized.[/quote]
