Extremely dumb comparison.

Forgiveness was the key part of the PPP system from the get-go.  PPP loans were
made with the condition that they go toward payroll, and that if recipients didn’t do layoffs, the loans would be forgiven.  Without forgiveness no one would have accepted the loans and they would have laid off their employees instead, causing an economic catastrophe and social unrest.[/quote]
