Your towels aren't high quality. They could have cost a lot but that is not a reflection of quality. I've not seen acne medication change the color of my towels. Even the darkest of blue towels. It's not a big deal in the end. Go to one ofnthe big box stores and get more towels. I have started using black towels for guest because of make up and body fluids. Don't want people embarrassed.
What?? No. Benzoyl peroxide will bleach any towel regardless of quality. It shows up after washing. It is likely that the teens use white towels at home and didn't realize this would happen (or think about it), and the bleach stains typically don't appear until after washing in my experience. Black towels? Gross. White towels can be bleached. Makeup stains are easy to get out of a white towel.
