Too bad she isn’t trying to produce feel good songs about embracing diversity and living life in a positive way. Or embracing maturity.

Honestly, a lot of artists from the 80s really never evolved past their hits:

Madonna
Bruce
Elton
Billy Joel
Cher
John Cougar Mellencamp
Etc.

They tour on their hits from the 80s. Some don’t even make music that ever hits the radio. Perhaps they aren’t as talented as we thought they were when we anointed them as stars? [/quote]

???? Some of Madonna's biggest hits are from the 1990s and 2000s.  She also has top 40 songs from the 2010s...  She's had 57 hot 100 songs (12 of which hit number 1). Her most recent top 10 was 2012.
