Yeah sure .. there are students who live way farther than us outside the dcc who don’t have to walk as far as my daughter.. Really appreciate your positive attitude and open mindedness to other people’s struggles !!![/quote]

The school that is the worst in the dcc AND is relocating all the way to Rockville next year .. I'm sorry that I want what's best for my child , and what's best is not sending her to a school that has fights and bad influences there every day !![/quote]

There have been very few fights this year. There are fights at Blair, Wheaton and Kennedy as well. I don’t think Northwood is that different from Blair (non-magnet). I know a couple of kids who go to Northwood and they are great kids who seem happy with the teachers at Northwood. Perhaps you could email the principal and ask if your daughter could do a shadow day there although the last couple of weeks of school might not be the best time [/quote]

I have kids at Blair and Wheaton.  There are fights at Blair all the time.  But Wheaton is much calmer and DS hasn’t seen any fights.  Maybe they are there, but not like Blair.  Wheaton is a great school.  Be careful what you wish for.[/quote]
