It's fenced off from the general public unless they pay, it's not particularly attractive, it does little to support wildlife or biodiversity and it requires an abundance of chemicals to be maintained. Not to mention, will golf even be a major sport 130 years from now? COVID provided a brief boost, but pre-pandemic, there had been a steady decline for like two decades.[/quote]
