Wtf is happening? https://www.ft.com/content/0b57c31b-814d-4554-91d8-d49b066cea69 Russian separatists in Ukraine attacking Russia using American hardware lead by literal white nationalists who have white nationalist clothing brands ————— “Andriy Chernyak, an official from Ukraine’s military intelligence directorate, HUR, acknowledged for the first time some form of co-operation with the Russian Volunteer Corps and Free Russia Legion. “Of course, we communicate with them. Of course, we share some information,” Chernyak said. “And, one might say, we even co-operate.” —————— Colborne identified another member of the Russian Volunteer Corps in photographs posted by the group during its Belgorod operation as Russian Aleksandr Skachkov, a rightwing extremist. Skachkov was arrested in Ukraine in 2020 during a raid on people selling translations of the manifesto of the gunman behind the 2019 mass shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand, according to Bellingcat.”
Another source for non-subscribers: https://www.rt.com/news/576802-pentagon-hardware-belgorod-attack/ So this Russian civil war seems to be nothing but a short-lived raid by Ukraine forces, using American hardware, supported by a few Russian stooges. There were probably more people posting about it on social media than there were participating in the actual "civil war."
Wow, RT. Tell me you're a troll without saying you're a troll. If a couple of hundred lightly armed russians can cross the border of a country at war and capture towns, that's pretty embarrassing for an army that used to be feared
That’s not civil war.
Thread title should be: Ukraine raids Russian border town to distract from loss at Bakhmut.
"Loss at Bakhmut" = Russian cope over taking 11 months to capture two of Ukraine's smallest cities, Soledar and Bakhmut, for a total of 22 square km advance, at the expense of tens of thousands of dead Russian troops and thousands of pieces of armor and artillery. And guess what - the Russians in Bakhmut are now depleted and becoming encircled.
There was a letter to the editor in WAPO this week that asked why we are not seeing more pics and videos of the fighting. Even during Vietnam there were daily reports. I realize that the US is not supposed to have soldiers there, but we are supporting this. I would be interested in knowing more.
