https://www.monstersandcritics.com/celebrity/jamie-foxxs-health-remains-unclear-as-rumors-suggest-inner-circle-is-preparing-for-the-worst/ Hope this is false and he is getting better.
I hope so too. I didn’t think the message on his Instagram was him, I don’t think any of his celeb friends have spoken to him or know anything. I think there’s a lot of “telephone” going on. Even the news articles are all regurgitating the same stuff with the same timeline. Jamie has some very loyal people and a good team around him. Nothing has been leaked and we still don’t know much if anything. I’m Praying for him!
His team is incredibly tight. They even announced his illness before we heard it from the press.
I'm surprised, and impressed, that no one from the hospital/medical staffs/movie crew has (it seems) leaked anything about his specific condition to the gossip sites or even legit news outlets. Not as far as it looks. A LOT of people are involved in hospital or clinical care and a movie sets are hotbeds of gossip with so many people involved every single day, so it's remarkable that there doesn't seem to be leaking. And it's good that things are so quiet-- the tight team clearly has worked at keeping his and his famiiy's privacy intact. I think the longer the family does not mention what the emergency was, though, the more people will start to speculate, and if it's a heart attack or stroke etc. it seems a little strange they haven't simply said so -- those are such common events, why not simply confirm, "He had a heart attack" or whatever? Of course they do NOT owe anyone even that much information. I just think speculation will eventually get going if there's no news after so long. And speculation is much worse than any real diagnosis.
I think that something happened that may or may not affect his ability to get jobs in the future. Many times you don't know the long term prognosis, so it's best to keep quiet and hope for the best.
This is also what I'm thinking. JF has been all over lately with acting projects and sponsorship deals. It feels like his camp needs to see how far back they think he can come and the timeframes before they put the word out and need to start untangling his legal commitments. And it may be the case his acting career as we know it is done and they're dealing with how to approach that. Of course, this is pure conjecture, but it's been a long time with no word from inside.
PP from above re: strokes, and it can take years of intensive rehabbing to get back to anything like working ability, and even then, the work of which he's capable may be profoundly different from before. Even if Foxx did not have a stroke, whatever has happened to him, if he has been physically or cognitively impaired, it could be months before the full extent of damage is really revealed. It's entirely understandable that there would be no word, even after weeks in the hospital. Doctors may still be in relatively early stages of understanding how impaired he may (or may not) be. I really do wish him the best and hope he got swift treatment. I'd be glad to hear his crisis wasn't actually severe, he's on the mend and this was all just intense caution to prevent rumors. But the time passing makes that seem less likely each day.
