No one in that department had a 2.2 GPA. They would have crashed in 200 level math and switched to something else. I think the young man is either doing a gap year or two, or he might eventually start his own kayak school. He’s fine. We don’t all aspire to work on Wall Street. Math majors, at least at Princeton, love learning for the sake of learning.[/quote]
