Because the psycho-social needs and development of a child cannot be compared to a dog. There are 1,000 of examples that con convey how there are differences. You can leave your dog home during the day. You can’t leave a toddler. Your dog doesn’t need to do homework, will never get bullied, or ask for your car keys!! I love dogs! But the mere idea that some people think they are similar circumstances is bizarre. [/quote]
