I don't blame the parents.  Trans and LGBTQ people did not even exist (at least not openly), when we were growing up and I am a millenial. So around the world this was not an accepted thing.  It certainly did not exist as it does now.  But, since we have seen gays and lesbians being more accepted, maybe trans people will be too.

But, it is perfectly fine if you are angry at Asians.  They are not your parents.

Also, my conservative Asian neighbors voted to legalize gay marriage because they want everyone to get married and become settled and responsible.  So, you never know who can inadvertantly become your ally.
