I've found that in schools where about > half of student body are one race, racist incidents are more likely to happen. In those areas, I hear ignorant comments about other races with much greater frequency than in more diverse schools. A possible solution is to diversify the schools so that no race represents more than about 40% of the student body.
Oh please do tell how you have "found" this out. This definitely seems like a rigorous analysis upon which to drive social policy.
It's obvious when you consider the regularity and frequency with which these incidents occur at the W's. Not only that but the more memorable and outrageous incidents like kids in blackface or the N* word cards that show this complete lack of empathy. It isn't by chance these things always happen the segregated schools.
Not all of the W schools. These incidents haven't been occurring at WJ, but it's also by far the most diverse out of the 3 "W" schools in Bethesda/Potomac (Walter Johnson, Walt Whitman, Winston Churchill). Although... if you ask the Whitman parents on this board, WJ barely qualifies as being worthy of inclusion in the "W" schools, lol.
