If they were "beautiful" shingles, they would not have been removed (and what did they put up in their place before adding the solar panels?). And as you say, roofs have to be replaced at a certain interval, usually 30 years. Tesla will remove the solar panels for free and put them back up when it's time to replace the roof. That's the deal we got. [/quote]
