I was "well rounded" (athlete + really interesting national and international ECs) but my stats were lower than your kid's stats.[/quote] I think the point is, they get high stat apps in spades so they have the luxury of rejecting many or even most of them. The other schools don’t have quite the same luxury so as you go down the list, especially ED, a high stats kid has a much higher chance of acceptance.[/quote]
