Their parents are above average in height. DS is 12 and one of the smaller kids in class at 4'10" and 80lbs. Doesn't help that he has an August birthday. The thing is, all of the means of predicting can ultimately be way off. Your kid WILL have a growth spurt at some point--mine will, too. He isn't going to be a 4'10 adult, But he could be 5'6 or 6'6 or anything in between and you really cannot control it. [/quote]
