[/quote] +1, I am in the office twice a week and I don’t mind helping onboard people during those 2 days or having junior colleagues drop into my office to ask questions, but I put my hours in and go home on my office days. For most non-front facing jobs there is no need for senior staff to be in more than 2 days a week. You’re available for mentoring and questions a couple days a week and you can stagger the senior people’s office days. I definitely don’t need to be back in the office for younger colleague’s social lives because as a 40 something married mom of 2 who puts her time in on office days and tries to beat the traffic home I add nothing to their social lives.[/quote]
