His core supporters were left wing activists. They knew who he was, which is why they supported him. He didn’t run as a continuation of Cheh, who is plenty liberal, he ran as someone to the left of Cheh. I am surprised that you think he would be anything different.[/quote]

But she moved left. You’re hoping for Frumin to move right. I cannot see that happening if/unless he overreaches and receives major blowback. But his core activist supporters would support the overreach. So there is not a lot that could pull him right unless his neighbors in AU Park turn against him.[/quote]

After the past few weeks I do not have a lot of hope for him.  Between the vote and the ridiculous picture of him on his E-Bike it’s almost like he is having a midlife crisis.  He’s getting the attention of all the hipster 20 something ANC commissioners.  It’s like he’s finally the cool kid but we need him to excessive some independence and maturity.  [/quote]
