If Wes Moore ever runs for president, he'll no doubt be attacked for falsely claiming that he was a bronze star recipient. Just inexcusable. https://foxbaltimore.com/news/local/bronze-star-recipient-wes-moore-appears-to-misrepresent-military-record-in-past-interview
Here come the racist white folks
Umm, sure, OK. Moore was in a terrible field of candidates in liberal MD, so he won by not being terrible. He has no chance on a national stage. Sorry, but good looks aren't enough. (And I'm a Democrat.)
He beat the Comptroller who’s already won statewide and the Obama endorsed former head of the DNC. I’m not sure how much stronger the competition could have been except if a sitting Congressmember would have run.
Having great qualifications doesn't make people great candidates. The field was definitely weak. Moore had great ads, and no one else did. And no one really attacked him. He also, of course, benefited from Repubs picking a total nutjob to run against him rather than someone who actually might be electable.
Found the Franchot voter :)
I cannot believe they are still trying to talk about “electability” even after the election is over and Wes Moore won. Evidently they won’t accept his victory until or unless he can prove it by beating every politician in the state.
