NYC mayor's new thing is to make it mandatory to receive mental health help (e.g. be taken away to some facility if you are considered a threat to yourself or others and unhoused). Not sure how this is going and how long are mentally unstable homeless are kept in the facilities receiving mental healthcare.. Eric Adams is receiving a lot of heat for that. [/quote]
